As standard, all Ticket Shed sales are final and non-refundable unless an event has been cancelled by the organiser.
We have developed the below Ticket Shed refund protection plan as an optional extra, to provide you, the customer with a refund if one of the following situations occur. This must be booked and paid for as part of your order at the time of booking.
Any necessary definitions are given at the end of this page.
When will we provide a refund?
- Unexpected disruption to the public transport network on the day of travelling to the booked event which you had reservations on and could not have been reasonably known about before the date of the event.
You’ll be required to show proof of booking and a copy of the public notice to show that the method was disrupted on the day of travel. - Mechanical breakdown, fire or theft of the vehicle you were travelling in to the event, on the date of travel to the event.
You will be required to provide a dated vehicle recovery service report for example from the RAC, AA, Green Flag etc. or in the event of a fire or theft and police report number or confirmation from the insurance company for that vehicle. - Death, injury or illness of any person in the group due to attend as part of the booking.
- Death of an immediate family member where the death is in the 4 weeks leading up to the event or funeral falls during the event.
- Pregnancy, where the date of booking is more than 35 weeks before the expected delivery date of your baby and where you will be giving birth within the 4 weeks prior or 4 weeks after the event.
- Burglary or fire at your residence in the 48 hours immediately before the booked event requiring attendance of the emergency services.
- Jury service or court summons as a witness where you had not received notice prior to booking the event.
- You being a member of the armed forces and being posted abroad and/or having leave withdrawn unexpectedly before the start of the event where you had not received notice prior to booking the event.
- Adverse weather where the Met Office have issued a red weather warning or where the Police service or other Government agency have issued a specific warning not to travel. You must provide confirmation of relevant road closures from the Police or the relevant Government agency.
Please note that this is not an insurance nor is it covered by the Financial Services Compensation Scheme.
When will we not provide a refund?
We will not provide a refund where:
- Your passes or tickets have been used either by you or someone else.
- In our reasonable opinion, you did not allow sufficient time to travel to a booked event.
- Loss of wristbands and vehicle passes will not be refunded.
- You carry out a criminal act which prevents you attending a booked event.
- Unaffected member/s of the booking choose not to attend the booked event.
- The reason for not attending the booked event is due to the physical or financial failure of air transport or airlines or delays resulting from air.
- You cannot provide suitable supporting documentation, including a doctor’s report for accident or illness or a death certificate where your refund request is for death.
- If your order has already been refunded for any reason.
- You make a false or fraudulent refund application or submit false evidence.
- You do not attend the booked event for any reason not listed in the listed above in the “When will we provide a refund?”
- You are prevented from travelling to the booked event due to an outbreak of a contagious disease and the Government or any agency acting on behalf of the Government has imposed a ban on travel.
What will we refund?
We will refund the purchase price of unused tickets and any additional booked extras which can no longer be used including any booking fee.
Our refund will not include travel expenses or other associated expenses or costs incurred and the refund amount is limited to the amount paid in the original booking.
How to request a refund
Please reply to your order email which will also show that you have purchased the refund protection plan.
Please notify us as soon as possible to speed up your refund process and attach any evidence that will help us process your claim such, some of which may be mentioned above.
Upon acceptance of a refund, you will be required to return your passes to us at your expense, we can only refund returned and unused passes. Please use a tracked method of delivery and include a note with your order id and full address in the package.

Definitions
Public Transport Network
Buses, trains and other forms of transport that are available for public use, charge set fares and run on fixed routes, on which the customer had planned to travel to a booked event. This does not include public hire taxis licensed for public use or aeroplanes/airlines.
